Since 2013, Erica Porter, aka WOW Women of Wrestling Superhero Jungle Grrrl, and Endorphasm Fitness have provided an experience that strips away the bullshit, sharpens your mind and body focus, allows you to reach beyond your perceived limitations, and accomplish your goals. Looking to expand our contribution to the community, Endorphasm is thrilled to announce The Endorphasm Foundation!

The Endorphasm Foundation empowers individuals to sharpen their mind and body focus, reach beyond their perceived limitations and accomplish their goals by combining the healing power of community and fitness. Self-empowerment promoted through exercise generates a renewed hope for the future.

The Endorphasm Foundation’s vision is to facilitate empowerment through fitness, outside the traditional model. We have all witnessed triumph through fitness: the hopeless become hopeful, the sick return to health, and the frustrated find reasons to smile. The Endorphasm Foundation empowers individuals to move past obstacles in their life by embracing the profound healing power of community and fitness. By promoting self-awareness, self-acceptance, and self-esteem through fitness we will generate a new meaning and sense of value for life.

Your registration/donation is crucial in helping us create a first of its kind fitness alliance that will provide cancer patients no-fee access to appropriate fitness products and services specifically tailored to help them deal with the physical and mental challenges posed by a cancer diagnosis and treatment. We estimate the cost for one patient to enroll in our program will be approximately $1200/annually.

Why Boobs?

Inspired by Erica’s Breast Cancer diagnosis, The Endorphasm Foundation is launching in October during Breast Cancer Awareness month. Fitness has long provided Erica an outlet of self-expression and self-confidence. And since her diagnosis in June it has grown to have a deeper, therapeutic presence in her life…both the movement and the community. This is just the beginning as the Endorphasm Foundation works to bring fitness and community to those battling cancer. So #EFCancer!

Why Burpees?

Because burpees are badass! Erica has challenged everyone to complete 500 Burpees in an hour or less. This is the challenge Erica has set, because cancer is not easy and this challenge shouldn’t be either.

How do I participate?

Register to do 500 burpees in one hour, anytime on October 11, 2020. Feel free to do 500 collectively as a group (not everyone is as crazy as Jungle Grrrl). Your registration fee goes directly to the Endorphasm Foundation.

What we ask of you.

Post a picture or video of your badass self or group doing those burpees and tag @endorphasmfoundation and @endorphasm and use the hashtags #EFCancer #EndorphasmFoundation

Where?

Anywhere! Grab some friends, stand six feet apart, and push to do something greater than yourself!
